First of all, apologies for being completely guilty of blogging hiatus. Spring has definitely sprung and needless to say, the niche suncare business goes into hyper-speed this time of year, leaving just about no time per workday to devote to Tumblr. Le sigh. Luckily, though, the Fabulos(c)ity hasn’t stopped just because blogging breaks have. It’s been a simply gorgeous few days and the perfect opportunity to pull out those spring and summer favorites.
Today I decided to celebrate the gorgeous weather with this Bebe keyhole jumper, casual platforms (oh-so sidewalk grate friendly) and a pop of color thanks my friend M’s fabulous turquoise necklace… I was a bit worried about the jumper placing me on a Studio 54 dance floor, but the ribbon belt and modern open back update the style just enough to make me completely obsessed. My jumpsuit love did start with that fabulous Rebecca Taylor animal print number, but this slightly more affordable version is just perfect.
Now if only I could find a way to escape the office and enjoy this sunny weather in person…
British company Ciate allegedly is coming to Sephora and Sephora.com with this AMAZING nail system - I can barely concentrate at work because I want to tackle the “Black Pearl” caviar manicure oh-so much. It’s about time someone combined two of my favorite things {caviar and manicures} into one.
I did a bit of research and can’t quite put my finger on the expected launch date in Sephora, if anyone finds out - let a girl know. I mean, it’s completely possible to achieve this look with nonpareils but I see that just ending poorly…
NOTE: The fabulous Bobbie of Today with Hoda & Kathie Lee did a small segment on this product on Friday - turns out it should be available at Sephora in a week or so!
Little Thursday morning inspiration - enjoy!

Look who’s on the cover of People Magazine this week.
Apparently, their family-friendly apartment at Kensington Palace is close to completion, they’ve “quietly shelved” a trip to Africa, and they won’t be in danger of stealing attention from the Queen once the Jubilee is over this summer.
My princess paranoia is nearing levels previously thought unreachable. I’ve moved my best shoes and my best ice cream into the panic room full-time.

Katie Holmes has become a staple in style news perhaps because her daughter Suri is currently the most well-dressed, get-her-way pint-sized diva out there or perhaps because her timeless beauty always finds a way to shine through. Either way, sometimes Katie’s ensemble choices are a bit worrisome but with this effortlessly chic combination of relaxed jeans, white T, structured handbag, fashionista heels, tailored blazer and classic black sunnies - she scores. Girl can pull it together.
With access to all of Tom Cruise’s money and probably some access to a hidden Scientology donation bank account (I kid, a little…) it’s doubtful that an entry-level beauty industry budget could score the same labels she’s donning. But do not be alarmed, this look can be achieved with these three accessories, a coy smile, nude gloss, a touch of bronzer and a sleek yet casual bun. To keep price conscious, grab a bright sunny yellow medium sized wallet (like this Michael Kors one) instead of investing in a full-size handbag if you doubt you’ll rock yellow on the daily.
Pumps: Aldo ($80.00) / Clutch: Michael Kors ($98.00) / Lipgloss: Nars ($24.00) / Sunglasses: Vince Camuto ($65.00) / Bronzing powder: Nars ($34.00)
So pull out your favorite bootcut jeans, pop on a simple white tee shirt and a tailored blazer in a muted color. With a splash of color and natural makeup, you’ll be sure to turn heads instead of turning to your savings account.
Can’t even say how much I’m in love with this quote. Although I can say that mascara would definitely put up a fight with passion.
